My goal is to support you in getting to know yourself better, to offer you practical methods for dealing with difficult thoughts and emotions and to accompany you on the way to a value-oriented life. In this way, we can find solutions to current challenges and increase your personal well-being in the long term. I am at your side in this process with compassion, support, information and coaching. With me, you will have a conversation at eye level and can benefit from the use of various tools such as questionnaires, worksheets, whiteboards, etc., which make the consulting process dynamic and tangible.
Possible Topics for Counseling
Me personally
Personal Challenges
Sometimes we get into situations in life that overwhelm us. Everyday life is hectic, the relationship is not going so well, a diagnosis changes everything, the job is gone, etc. In the counseling session we look at your current situation together, clarify what is bothering you, and develop new ways of dealing with it. It's not about finding perfect solutions, it's about your own personal next steps. The aim is to gain more clarity and room for movement – towards a life that is based on your personal values.
Stress
Permanent stress can throw body and soul out of balance. In the counseling session you will learn to recognize your stress patterns, understand internal and external triggers and develop appropriate strategies. Together we will discover what strengthens you, what relaxes you, and how you can make better use of your resources. The aim is to bring more peace and self-efficacy back into everyday life.
Decision-Making
When important decisions are pending, the inner chaos can be great. Together we will structure your thoughts, clarify values, wishes and fears and find out what is really important to you. This creates space for clear decisions that feel coherent. The counselling supports you in finding your own way – without pressure and with visual tools to better analyse your own situation.
Setting Goals
Goals give direction to life, but sometimes there is a lack of clarity about where I actually want to go. Together we work out what drives you, what you want to achieve, what realistic and motivating goals look like and which obstacles you are confronted with. We could also use the journal I designed to support you on your way to your goals.
Promoting well-being
Mental well-being is more than the absence of problems – it means knowing yourself well and taking care of yourself. In the counseling sessions we will explore what is (not) good for you in the short and long term, what you may have missed in your life so far, what resources you can use in stressful times. I would also be happy to show you strategies on how to deal with difficult thoughts and feelings so that you are prepared for the future. In your journey to greater well-being, I use questionnaires, worksheets, small homework assignments and visual tools.
Analyse your strengths
It is often easier for us to name our weaknesses than our strengths. Together and with the help of a questionnaire we will discover which strengths you use the most and which you could or would like to use more often. This awareness and the implementation of one's own strengths helps to feel more confident, to master challenges better and promotes psychological well-being.
Am I highly sensitive?
Do you experience yourself as particularly receptive to moods, stimuli or stress influences? Do you react more sensitively than others in some situations and need more time to process stimuli? In the counseling session, we will clarify whether sensitivity plays a role in your life. The aim is to learn more about the concept of high sensitivity and to find strategies on how to deal with your own.
Overcoming fears
Each of us feels fears – and yet they can severely limit us if they determine our behavior. In the consultation, I would like to invite you not to work against fears, but to learn to face them with a new attitude: mindful, curious and compassionate. We explore what fear wants to tell you and strengthen your ability to act despite fear. The goal is to be able to lead a life that is based on your values despite the fear.
Stop ruminating
When thoughts circle through our mind we often feel nervous and anxious and become inattentive. In the counseling session, you will learn to free yourself from the constant mental carousel - without fighting against the thoughts. With methods for cognitive distancing ("defusion") and mindful exercises, we strengthen your ability to recognize rumination and observe it from the outside. Instead of getting lost in our heads, we focus on what really counts for you in the here and now.

Romantic Relationships
Partnerships can be a source of great closeness – but also of pain and uncertainty. In counselling, we look together at relationship patterns, unspoken needs and entrenched dynamics. With mindful reflection and a look at your own values, we clarify what is really important to you in your relationship. We can then discuss together what new options for action arise and whether and what changes you would like to see in your relationship.
My emigration experience
Living abroad can be exciting and rewarding – but it can also be lonely, confusing and emotionally challenging. I asked myself the question of my identity many times living a life between two cultures. Sometimes felt foreign and misunderstood, both in my home country and in my new home. In the consultation, I accompany you in sorting out your experiences, understanding the inner ambiguity and gaining clarity about what gives you support and is important in your new life.
Communicate clearly
Misunderstandings, arguments or the feeling of not being heard – many conflicts arise from unclear or lack of communication. In counseling, we practice expressing our own thoughts and feelings more clearly and at the same time listening well. We also discuss the pitfalls of successful communication (which, as we all know, depends on both sides). You can then use these new insights for yourself in different contexts: at work, with your partner, family or friends.
Me at work
Professional challenges
Sometimes your own job is stressful, sometimes you can hardly get out of bed to go to work without motivation – too much pressure, too little sense, conflicts in the team or the feeling of losing yourself or not being able to contribute properly. In the consultation, we take a look at your situation together: What exactly is bothering you? What do you want to change – and what is really under your control? Do you want to stay or change career? How can you better deal with stress at work? And what does it actually take to feel fulfilled and comfortable at work?
Change of job?
You may have felt for some time that the time has come for something new – but uncertainty, doubts or external obligations are holding you back. In the consultation, we clarify what is behind your desire for change, what values guide you and what fears accompany you. We analyze your options, check what is realistic and what is desirable – and develop a viable path between security and growth. The goal is a decision that doesn't have to be perfect, but will be right for you.
Job Interviews
A job interview can make you nervous – especially if you have self-doubts or old beliefs interfering. In the consultation, we prepare you specifically for the interview: we go through your CV together, practice typical (and a few rather atypical) questions in role play, talk about what distinguishes you and makes you special, train to communicate authentically and clearly and discuss which uncertainties such as self-doubt could arise and work out a new way of dealing with them.
My Journal
Together with a colleague, I designed a journal during the Corona pandemic. The aim of the journal is to improve one's well-being by pursuing one's dreams and trying out various psychological interventions. For 16 weeks, this book accompanies you daily on the way to your personal goals. We not only selected an established 8-step goal-setting program, but also created "self-care challenges" based on positive psychology interventions. In this way, you not only get closer to your dreams, but also develop personally and strengthen your mental health!
If you are interested, I will provide a free PDF version of the journal to support the consultation process.
